Alexandra was born and raised in North Dakota. Her grandfather, father, and many uncles are small business owners. She grew up with a sense of community and family. She attended Minnesota State University-Moorhead and received her Bachelors of Science degree with an emphasis in Health and Medical Sciences and a minor in Anthropology. She always knew she wants to be in the medical field and when she discovered how acupuncture could work for people, she decided that alternative medicine was her path. She started her Masters in Acupuncture degree at Northwestern Health Sciences in Bloomington, Minnesota in January of 2013. She had a family in Fargo at the time and decided it would be best to commute to Minneapolis for the duration of her program. Over the next two years and eight months she drove to the twin cities from fargo 200 times all while maintaining a family, having a third child, and an achieving an excellent GPA. She was dedicated to her education and to being one of few acupuncturists to serve the Fargo/Moorhead community. She graduated in August of 2015 with over 3000 hours of training in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medical Classes, as well as 540 clinical hours. She has training in acute health care settings, working with post operative pain at wood winds hospital in Woodbury, Minnesota. She also trained with an elderly population as well as stroke patients at Cerenity Senior Center in Woodbury, Minnesota. Alexandra is a dedicated practitioner who is excited to live in Fargo, all while helping to heal the greater Fargo-Moorhead community.
